About ALP
Autism Learning Partnership, a branch of the New Brunswick Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (EECD), provides bilingual (French and English), evidence-based, high-quality professional learning and resources based upon the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) that aims to teach behaviour by changing the environment so that a person can thrive in their family, social, school, and community life. The team, who oversees the development, implementation and management of the training program, is divided in three sections:

The entire collaborating team extends sincere thanks and appreciation to all of the professionals who supported the development of the different courses. We also thank the staff and students who participated in the creation of the videos throughout the online training program, as well as the parents and families who allowed us to work with and videotape their children.
- Learning Specialists team which consists in a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, teachers and behaviour analysts responsible for managing the development, content design, revisions, coordination and facilitation of the online training. The team is also responsible for providing a range of online training and development workshops, as well as field coaching. Feedback from participants is frequently collected, which allows us to improve content and processes before offering external training.
- Research and Innovation team mandated to work with university programs to assess effectiveness and satisfaction. We are currently working with Memorial University of Newfoundland, to assess the satisfaction rate and effectiveness of the introductory level of the training program. This team also has the mandate to create new content and resources according to the needs identified at the provincial, national and international levels.
- Support Services team in charge of online content programming and graphic design, online registration, technical support, management of the e-learning platform as well as translation and linguistic quality.
