Learning Specialist – Education
Monette LeBlanc-Priemer is a learning specialist for the Autism Learning Partnership (ALP), a branch of the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development in New Brunswick (Canada). Monette has been working with school personnel since 2004. She obtained her master’s degree in education with honours in resource teaching in 2010 and then served as a resource teacher for seven years. She has been working as a Learning Specialist with the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development since 2012. Monette obtained her behavioural analyst certification from the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board in 2016, after completing her training at the University of North Texas. Her areas of expertise are the assessment and programming of learning and behaviour for school-age learners with autism spectrum disorders, the creation and implementation of training for school staff and the support of complex cases.
