Learning Specialist – Education Lead (francophone sector)
Monette LeBlanc-Priemer is the Learning Specialist – Provincial Autism Training and Specialized Services Lead (Education – francophone sector) for the Autism Learning Partnership (ALP), a branch of the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development in New Brunswick (Canada). Monette began her career in 2004 as a classroom and resource teacher. She obtained her master’s degree in education with honours in resource teaching in 2010. She has been working as a Learning Specialist with the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development since 2012. Monette obtained her behavioural analyst certification from the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board in 2016, after completing her training at the University of North Texas. Her areas of expertise are assessment and instructional planning for school-age learners with autism spectrum disorders, the creation and implementation of training for school staff, and behaviour support.
