Comprehensive Assessment for Learning and Independence (CALI) – Functional Skills for Independence

The CALI – Functional Skills for Independence is a tool that was designed to assess skills related to activities of daily living for individuals of varying ages and development level who require individualized programming in the area of functional skills.

More that 1,100 skills are identified in 10 different domains. This tool is available in English and in French.

To ensure the success and implementation of functional skills assessment and instruction, Autism Learning Partnership has created an online resource entitled: Functional Skills for Independence: Strategies for Successful Implementation.

This resource will help individuals plan and implement effective interventions and contains all tools and printable documents needed to complete the assessment.
